Thank You =)

Rosie here.

I just want to thank you all for your kind birthday wishes!

I had a really wonderful day yesterday filled with LOTS of surprises both from my friends and even from the post!!! XD

The best surprise and present though, would have to be the one from our close friend, Lian (and her KNIGHTS shelties).

And I just really had to show off this wonderful piece of art she got for me, which I am sure we'll all treasure forever.

I'm sure many of you will remember our sweet Orah girl. And well, now she will never EVER be forgotten in our home :)

New Kid on the Block

Hi, it's me EVA again!

I've been busy again since my new neighbour, a 4 months old Doberman girl, Roxy came to join our neighbourhood.

Isn't she a pretty girl? She is so tall. I can't believe a puppy can be so much taller than I am.

She likes me very much and has asked me to give her some advice on how to keep her fort safe and sound.

I'm happy to give her some of my two cents thought:
always get ready

do patrolling

tell the strangers to go away

greet the postman happily

warn the kitties not to come near our territory

all work and no play makes Roxy a dull girl.
She should also learn how to play.

Are you ready?

Last but not least, we have to act CUTE to our humans too.

What do you think?

Friday again!

No cars, no kitties, no postman, no ROSIE!!!
It's time to take a nap now!

Have a happy weekend!!!

By the way, bravo to BassetmommaJen and Lassiter Chase and Benjamin. You spotted my classic drool in my WW post!

MishMash Monday #7

These are the pictures I took on the day Rosie was home.
When everyone was excited and moving fast, I just didn't know how and where and whom to focus.
Here are the two examples and I've so many of them.

FYI, you can only see these kind of happy but blurry pictures four months later.
Someone isn't very happy and quite depressed at the moment if you know what I refer to.
It's a taboo subject right now right here.

Friday 13th - A lucky day!

It arrived!!!

The long-awaited package from our friends from Cowspotdog!

The postman came and asked for a Miss Eva.
Unfortunately, I was stuck in the house and couldn't go out to greet him. Instead, my sister Rosie said "Yes" and signed for me!!!

Eva's mom here:

When the box arrived in the house, Eva couldn't wait to get at it. She seemed to know that it was for her! I bet she smelt the treats. Once the box was on the floor, she got wayyy too excited (as you can see in the video).

The first thing she took out was the duck feet.

Second, the bone treats... if you keep watching, you can see how she untied the ribbon!!
(obviously not meant to be left alone with intellectually clever dogs)

Before letting her devour the whole lot, here is a photo of her presents!
(PeeS: Reilly, we DID notice what the MOO looked like! A COWSPOTDOG!!!
Eva absolutely adores both the bone and the cowspotdog (maybe we should name him Reilly!)

And obviously, Eva couldn't wait to eat her DUCK FEET, so we got her to leave it for a long time.....

Mika enjoyed his too!

Thank YOU sooooo much, Bree, Reilly, Denny and Jackson!
We LOVE the presents!!

Eva sends lots of licks and kisses!!

Our Easter Weekend at the Beach

The beach.

Where to start?

We set off for our 4 hours drive on Friday morning and arrived at the beach resort in the early afternoon.
Upon arriving, we unpacked our bags, cleaned up our chalet and went to the beach!

This was Eva's first reaction...

Then some dogs decided they needed to introduce themselves...

Hey, quit sniffing!

After she escaped their burrowing noses, she went back to being completely CRACKER

She was one happy girlie.

Day 2 saw us up bright and early.

We had more cracker dog episodes of her playing with her leash.
She does that a lot.

Up UP in the air!

But being off leash also means mom and dad need to have some food on their hands...we wouldn't want a runaway sheltie.

Our sit and stand stays were put into good use. They hadn't been practised for a long time but Eva knew just what to do and how to pose!!

She even gave some of the cutest expressions like this...

Soon it became quite hot when the sun came out so we decided to go back in, have a rest, and then go back to the beach in the evening.

This one just made me laugh!!

We got some really nice photos in the evening where the light shone on the beach.
There were very little areas on which it shone but when we put Eva in it, it just looks like there is a spotlight on her.

And we got some really pretty 'show dog' stacking and gaiting pictures.

Of course, a princess needs her food after looking pretty!

Our third and final day began on the beach again.
This time, we saw fishermen lining up their fishing rods.
Eva was pretty interested in them and the fish they caught.

She soon discovered the joys of digging.
But with her nose...

Did you know, she has never gotten herself wet?

She loves playing with the waves, but once they come too close, she'll run away.

She also found a new joy with sticks.

They are obviously very nice to chew.

White and fluffy.
But not as cute as me!

And we also had a kitty neighbour.
Eva was NOT pleased.
We had a lot of growling from her and snarling from the cats.

And finally, to end with, a very happy picture with our two happy girlies.

(P.S. We had a wonderful little photographer who shot more than 1000 pictures!!!)
