Pain & Gain

My mom's yoga teacher always encourages her students to go deeper into some tough yoga poses by saying 'Temporary pain, permanent gain' or 'no pain, no gain'.

I think it means this:
Temporary PAIN

Permanent GAIN

What do you think?

Don't Worry, Mom!

While all my American friends are celebrating the 4th July, it's the day that I'm taking up some huge responsibilities from Mom.
It's a promise that I'm going to take care of Dad when she is away.

Wait for Dad to come home everyday

Greet him with my best smile

Do my petrol

Make sure the plants are watered

Remind him to brush me

Keep him company

Check with the postman

Please come home early, Dad.

My only request is:
Remember to bring my playmate home, Mom.

*****************************************

PeeS: I'm terribly sorry that I might not be able to visit all of you but I promise I'll be back as soon as possible once everyone is home.

Mom said thirty days means a few 40 winks. Is that true?
