It's all about Orah!

Today, it's all about Orah!

She is so sweet, well-natured, and so beautiful!
She is Rosie's dog through and through...her little follower.

She has started barking for the first time today. It has been a long time since we heard that strong and low rottie bark, the way Laura used to do it.

The only naughty side to her is that she is just a bit destructive!!!!

A lot of Funsies!

At 20 months, here is our beautiful princess.
At the moment, her fur is all over the place, especially around her face. It's getting real messy now and she hasn't had a bath in more than a month!

The dogs had a ball this afternoon.
Someone asked us about whether Mika and Orah were ok together.
Luckily for us, Mika is truly a gentleman. He doesn't mind any girl in the house...although I doubt he'll be that lenient with boys. Orah is a bit rough since she doesn't know her own strength yet, and always bumps into him with her big body especially if she's a bit excited.

Today, for the first time, all three dogs played together. And we have lots of pictures to prove it!
(Who knew rotties could have so many facial and body expressions?)

It first started like this.
Eva wanted to play with Mika, and then Orah poked her head in.

Due to Orah's mega rottie strength, Eva decided to let the two of them play together first.

Eva watches...

Wrestling

Going for the tail!

Not sure whether Orah jumped across Mika here or whether he went under her...

 Crazy rottie expressions!

Don't worry! Shelties are fast runners!!

Too bad it isn't wordless wednesday...because here are two of the coolest pictures of the lot!

Unfortunately, there were many many more times this happened, but I was only able to catch it once.

And this....

Well, it's almost like Orah is saying "He's my best friend!" and Mika , well, he just looks like a meerkat!

Compare and Contrast

For the first time in my life, the humans took more pictures of the black and tan than they did of me!!!

I mean, honestly, how can this big head compare in beauty with my slender, feminine face?

All I heard today was Orah this and Orah that!!

GRRRRRRR

I HAD to show the humans I could take better pictures than her, so I brought out the fierce, lioness in me.

Am I simply stunning or what?

Now, contrast this with ...

A most unlady-like pose!!!

And she even chased me!!
Unfortunately for her, us shelties are fast, agile dogs, as compared to big clumsy ones like her!!

We were even FORCED to take a picture together!!!!

What a tiring day!

Orah, the rottie

She's here! The long awaited black and tan :)

We will be taking care of Orah this summer - a friend is letting Rosie (who is crazy about rotties) have her for this summer.

She is 8 months old, and very very sweet AND beautiful!!!

The dogs are fine with her, and she is settling in very well!

At first, when we first met her, she was a bit wary of us, but after coming back home she is much sweeter, happier, and she is very much attached to humans too.

We hope to have many many more days of joy and fun with this very active puppy!!

Monkeys

This evening, we had a couple of monkeys visit us and our neighbours.
They are usually attracted to the fruit trees our neighbour grows and you can often seeing them swinging from branch to branch, munching on the delicious fruits.

These evening, they were exceptionally close and even came down to our garden. Mika was very unhappy, and Eva who was stuck in the house was even more unhappy. Monkeys here are very dangerous and aggressive so it's never too good to aggravate one.

Here are some photos taken by Rosie.

Here they are visiting our next door neighbour.

A brave one watching us from the fence.

And showing off its moves.

At the same time, aggravating our Mika.

Can you see the monkey?

Even entering into his territory.

Later, he shows off to his friend with his acrobatic moves.

Enjoying the performance.

As Mika watches them, unable to do anything

The monkeys are now far away, watching the sunset.

Two silhouettes in the evening.

P.S. Some of our friends have been asking about our new black and tan. She won't be arriving until hopefully next week and we are just as excited as you are to see her!!!
