The Groomers

It was my third time going to the grooming salon.

On the first time, I wet everybody who was bathing me....as in completely soaked / drenched inside out. It took all the assistants to hold me down. And when they used the blow dryer on me, I went completely nuts. I hated the electric toothbrush too!!

But you must know, when at home, I am a very good girlie and behave myself~!

On the second time, they said I was a little bit better...(but I guess they were just too embarrased to tell mom that I was still very naughty).

Today, I didn't even want to enter the salon. As we entered, I kept struggling and trying to run out!!

When my humans came to pick me up, the groomers said I was a very good girl with the blowdryer and electric toothbrush!! Their jaws dropped ~ Don't they know I'm not always so cracker-dog?

AFTER my bath

A human's note:

As we picked Eva up, she felt so different! 

Her fur was lighter and softer than ever,

And she smelt.....FRAGRANT!

During the car ride home, her 'aroma' filled the whole car :)

Do I look any different? I don't think so!!!

Those humans better not take me there too often!!! 

And my feet are no longer furry!!!

Grooming again!!!

It was a beautiful sunny morning

Mika, quick! She's here!!!

Do you remember my private groomer, the very kind and gentle lady? 

She was back! 

Mika and I were SO thrilled when we spotted  her car coming towards our house. 

She's one of the sweetest creatures in the world apart from my mom and sister Rosie.

Looking very neat and tidy now. You can see that even my ears are red because groomer
 lady had to pluck the hairs out! OUCH!

My patience was paid off at last!!!

I hope she can come often!

I'll start praying now...

Uncle Mika likes her too so I know he will also do the prayers (secretly)...

Eva and the groomer

Eva has never gone to the groomers before because I do the grooming for her everyday. But of course, home grooming is very different from professional grooming! 

 

Eva's hair has become a little messy in places so we decided to get a groomer to come to our house! We were recommended to her by our neighbours.

And I have to say, she's great! She's really patient with the naughty one and took a long time trimming her carefully.

Excuse me! That's my butt!

 Ugh. This woman left fur on my nose!

Removing ear hair

She even did some trimming for Mika to make his fur look even (especially around the back because of his hairless leg), and under his paws too. 

The dogs loved her because she was just so sweet to them and gave them loads of treats! 

Isn't she so beautiful now?
