I had a great day...NOT

One word to sum up my feelings ...

Petrified

Priscilla here:

Today, we went to visit a lady who does boarding for dogs and also fosters unwanted dogs, because we are planning on leaving Eva with her when my husband and I visit Tasmania next year. It was just the right timing when some of Rosie's husky friends were going to have a gathering there so we decided to pop in and take a look at the surroundings.

Just as we arrived, Eva had obviously sensed something because she refused to get out of the car and into the house. (She never does this!) So with a little shoving from us, she entered and was greeted by a group of huskies, all bigger than her, may I add! They were friendly, but obviously this strange object required them to 'gang up' on her!

I think Eva was terrified of all the huskies. She didn't like it when one of the pups wanted to play with her, and went to her submissive pose many times.

She then got dumped into the pool and swam a few rounds, showing everyone how elegant she was!

There are no words to describe how unhappy this girl was. But if you imagine that our greedy little girl refused to eat any yummy treats, you can pretty much understand it.

She was ok with the smaller dogs, though, which is good. For boarding, the large and small dogs are kept separated, so it means that she should be fine.

We also met a gorgeous foster rottie there. She is beautiful and absolutely loves the water. Everytime you throw a toy in the pool, she will jump in and get it. She has a wonderful temperament too! Her name is Rottie.

Eva is sleeping soundly now, four legs in the air.
After all, home is always the safest place to be.

Tiring, but FUN!

Last week was a very exciting week for me. I met my favourite auntie Lian again when she came back for a short visit. As always, she brought me tons and tons of treats and yummy foods from England! I guess that's why I love her so much :)

I visited her four times in a week! And each time we had so much fun running and playing together. I also got to go to her house (and made it my second home) which had a huge garden I could run in.
I also learnt lots and lots of new tricks (which I've forgotten now, but you know, it was fun working for food!)

Now that Rosie is home, my life has been so busy and I haven't been able to have my daily nap-times! I heard that we are going somewhere special this weekend! I know it will be FUN!!

Showing off my beautiful leash and personalized harness from auntie Lian

Hehe! I ran away with her slipper!

When we said bye-bye to auntie Lian, I gave my sad, gloomy, pitiful look.
I miss you, auntie Lian!!!!

Eva's guide to happiness

Life can be interesting everyday if you know how to enjoy it.
Follow Eva's step-by-step guide to living life to the fullest.

Step One: Get a twig or a stick to chew
Remember to enjoy it! GRIN for the camera!

Step Two: Grab something your humans have left around to play with.
In this case, I got a sponge

Step Three: Remember that dogs can't only play with themselves. They need some human attention too!
Grab your favourite toy and play with them!

Step Four: Always be happy when you are running

Step Five: Remember to SMILE!

Happiness is the key to success
(and beauty)!!!

The two sisters

Beware: Pictures lead to infinity

Sweetheart came to us yesterday as a very well behaved, calm dog, as opposed to Eva's hyper naughtiness.

Today, however, we noticed a slight change in Eva - she is less hyper, less excited, more calm...more zen. I don't think she's unhappy though.
Eva has been a good host. She allows Sweetheart to play with her toys, sleep in her room, drink her water. In return, she bites Sweetheart's tail constantly no matter how many times Sweetheart tells her off, she just never gives up.

24 hours later, Sweetheart has shown her more naughty side ... chewing ... she especially loves Eva's beloved toys. Poor Mr. Bear is now .... mutilated :( (check out his ear!)

Tug-Of-War with Mr Dalmation

I think I see the winner here

Now the cloth

Two shelties make the pictures look prettier, especially when they're sisters!

Now I'm going to pass you on to Princess Eva

Hi everyone! I'm guessing you all know a bit about my sister already.
I think I've been a bit irritating to her, but it's amazing how she tolerates me!
It's been great fun playing with someone my age, who can teach me some stuff too (my hoomans hope!) Although everyone hopes I can be a goody two-shoes like my sister, I have my own personality too!! However, due to peer pressure (my hoomans think!), I've been slightly better behaved, and less naughty!

I introduced her to my grandma Laura.

Then we played tag..

Catch me if you can!

That silly girl was too scared to come in! See, aren't I brave?

I had to submit to her after a while .

Eeek! She's scary!

Kinda tired now....

Play Day!

When she was 1 week old, all she did was sleep and eat.
When she was 3 weeks old, her eyes and ears opened completely and she could see and hear noises around her.
When she was 5 weeks old, she learnt the meaning of play.
When she is 7 weeks old, MAN, is she naughty!

Well, this picture involves some real physical BITING.
As you can see, Hana is biting her pup's leg, while her pup is biting her leg.
Hmm.....

In the wall, there are some pipelines (holes in the wall), so you can imagine where her face is. Let's hope an angry squirrel doesn't live there!

It seems biting her mother is great fun.

Her area of expertise - running

Trying to catch up with Uncle Mika. Her little puppylegs still can't run as fast as she would like them to go!

This is classic.
A tent Rosie used to own as a 'plaything', is now a 'dogthing'.

And as everybody says,

"A tired puppy is a happy puppy"

The end.
