Post-grooming coffees and a photoshoot

It's not easy finding a dog-friendly restaurant or café here in Malaysia. Luckily for us, we know a small coffee place near Eva's groomers that is Eva-friendly! The owners of the café are dog lovers and I guess the Princess has charmed them!

The interior design of the cafe offers a nice backdrop for a little photosession. They had cute little white tables and chairs, paired with white walls and a grey floor.
Our little photographer and sheltie had some fun taking photos!

Eva enjoys coming here mainly because she gets to roam around freely and also wait for delicious treats to drop from the table! She feels very much at home and the people are amazed that she's so calm. (Well, a princess has to act princess-like when she's outside doesn't she?)

Love her beautiful cross paws

She is such a little poser!

Don't they look like studio shots?

While Eva was busy working for her food, we enjoyed our coffees.

Latte with double shot espresso!

A hot chocolate

Hope you enjoyed the photos!!

Eva and Chili's playdate!

I know it has been A VERY LONG TIME since my last post, and my apologies to you all for not visiting your blogs as often. It has been a long and tough couple of months for me because I got pretty ill and have been recovering ever since.

For those who have missed our little Princess, here are some photos for you!

Rosie has been home for a couple of weeks now for her summer holiday (although summer is nearly over!). Today, we met up with a new friend and her sheltie girl, Chili. Chili is 3 years old, and is a replica of Eva when she was a puppy --> young dog --> adult... Now Eva's just more mature and less reactive, I guess! Well, she is nearly 5 years old! Can you believe it?! Chili loves chasing motorbikes, barking at loud noises, just sheltie things only sheltie people would understand!

Two happy girls

They are both so greedy, especially because Chili's owner brought along some homemade pork balls!!
I think Eva would have gone home with her without a second thought!!

It was hard work trying to get both of them to beg at the same time!
As you can see, Chili is already a pro at it!

They had so much fun doing sheltie zoomies and Eva was herding Chili all along!

I also read today that one of our bloggie buddies, My Brown Newfies has been having a tough time because her gorgeous Newfie, Leroy isn't doing very well and needs some funds to help him get better! If you would be so inclined, please help donate to Jen so that Leroy can get all the medical attention he needs!

All the info is on here:

Mum is home!

After zillion years of waiting, Mum IS finally home.

Obviously, she had lots of lots of fun without me in Hannover with sister Rosie and then she did something which really upset me; she secretly flew across some seas to visit my favourite Auntie Lian and brought home with all those sheltie smells and furs with her. I sensed it the second she wanted to give me a bear hug but I immediately dodged a few hundred yards from her. No way, I, as a princess, just can't bear this.

Nope. You can't see me, can you?
However, after some reconsiderations, I decided to forgive her as I could see the guilty look in her eyes. Besides, it seems some treasures were well hidden in her big orange bag. I'd better be smart than sorry.

Look what I've got!
Toys from Auntie Lian and Mum
Can you see the red & white tug and the ball under the turtle frisbee? Those are the toys that Mum learned and made at Auntie Lian's, of course, it's all under auntie Lian's supervision as well.

My sweetest auntie always knows what I like best. It was really difficult for me to pose with those treats though. Hope you can't see my drool.

Mika wanted to know what he has got from Mum and I promised him I'll share all my treats with him. I'm a good girl. I'M.

Well, I'm a very happy princess now.

Some sheltie dance for you guys!

Guard Dog!

Mum is going to Hannover and leaving me and dad at home AGAIN!

I think Mum misses sister Rosie a lot so she needs to spends some time with her. Well, I think that's fair enough as I have her days and nights. It's Rosie's turn to have Mum now.

I'm a guard dog you see so I promised her I'll take care of the house and Dad while she isn't at home.

I check every corner of the yard

Never miss anything like this

Ta ta! It's patrolling time now.

P.s.  So sorry for not being able to leave many of my pawprints in your comment boxes but we do visit everyone of you all the time.  Mum is slow lately and her excuse is her age is catching up with her. :(

400g

What does a 400g mean to you?

The Dr. VET said I've put on a little weight so I'm 400g heavier than last year. Dad think it's alright as I'm still pretty, slim and fit but my mum wasn't so happy with the news at all. I'm afraid some strict diet programmes which I loath so much will be on in no time though.

But what can a little princess do? I'd better keep my paws crossed tightly from now on.

I might end up looking for some supplements here and there

or going green

Life is beautiful!

Would you like to have some green? I've plenty here.

No happenings at home at the moment so I spend most of my time pondering over life

then I realise my little birds have grown up well.

Found this lonely fellow in my yard! Nope, I didn't disturb him.

Out of the blue, Mom changed her mind and yippee, I'm a very happy girl again.

Life is beautiful!
Have a marvellous Wednesday!

P.s. A secret to share with you: my playmate will be home soon!!!

Wonderful Vacation

Oh, I'm home at last!

After 20 days staying in Wagcations, Casa Mel under the care of Nanny Mel; I'm so happy that I'm home. A good rest after all the excitements and happenings is indeed needed but I think I've already started missing her and my pals there :)

My sincere apologies that I didn't manage to visit your blogs once I was home. It's all my mom's fault but she blamed it on the jet lag. She did look bad and dead for a couple of days but she's okay now.

I'd love to tell you about my holiday in words but I think pictures speak a thousand words and you might like to see me in pictures too.

Some of my new & old buddies

A very civilised bunch of us lining up for treats

The handsome yellow lab is my big brother/bodyguard.

Modelling for nanny Mel under the hot sun

Feeling safe to sleep beside my bodyguard

Nope! I'm not greedy!
They eat too slow!

It's important to get the first hand news of the day!

Always making sure that I'm the first to get some walkies.

I was making the most of my last day stay in Wagcations by pinning down Lulu the Labradoodle while playing. This is the first time I pinned down someone and I didn't know what I should do after that, so instead of walking away rudely, I thought it might be alrightish if I sat on her head for awhile. Teehee...

P.s. It was a long vacation for both humans and Eva this time but I'm very pleased to know that Eva was actually enjoying her holiday. According to Melissa, a wonderful doggy sitter who always texted, sent us pictures and videos of our princess, our little shy princess has grown to be a more confident, relaxed and braver girl. However, during the stay at Casa Mel, the princess knew exactly how a PRINCESS should be treated to :)

Many thanks to Melissa for sending us her wonderful pictures and videos of our princess. I didn't put up the videos here as I don't know how to transfer the videos from my phone to the blog :((

By the way, I secretly think the greedy princess had loads of treats all the time during her holiday stay. Well, who could ever resist that face?

Can I have some more, pleaseeeeeee?
