Bath-time AGAIN!

It was bath-time again yesterday. Did you know... mommy said that I am being such a good girl now with baths. I don't try to run away or do something naughty. I just stand there and let them torture me!
During drying, I get my favorite treat, which is what makes me behave. Without it, there's no way the blower is going to get to me!!

Going to the groomers is worse though because I am all alone and I have to try to be a good girl. They don't even give me treats for being good!!! Some places are just not worth the car ride!

Who wants to come on a ride with me?

Do you know where I love going to most?
Grandma's!

She takes care of lots and lots of babies and I love playing with them.
There is this one particular boy she babysits and he loves me! Mommy said that after I left, he asked where I was. Can you believe it? I played 'bow' with him while he played 'peek-a-boo' with me! Unfortunately, mommy didn't get any photos or videos of me for you to see.

My humans think it's amazing I don't react to loud baby noises and crying.
What can I say?
I am a sheltie!

Aren't baths just the worse thing ever !!!! And what is this - THEY DON"T GIVE YOU TREATS at the groomers - what kind of groomers is that ! You need to stamp your feets and say you will NOT go to a place where they DON'T provide a treat. And of coarse you are good with little hoomans - it's your herding instinct, to round then up and protect.

Eva isn't it fun when we don't react the way they want us to? lol

I hear ya about the groomer, I don't like it either!

I think that we Shelties like children because we are sensitive sorts. We don't mind their crying but we sure bark at a can opener being used DOWN THE STREET! BOL!

Barks and licks and love, Dakota

Your look lovely Eva!
It is great that you have young ones to play with at your GM's. I am not surprised that they ask for you.

I have been hearing the "B" word around here so I may be in for one too. You are such a good sport to put up with kids - I am not sure I like them!

You certainly look lovely. I am impressed by your ability to tolerate the human pups. That is a real gift, which, sadly, the Mango does not have.

OOOH nooo not the bath, what a sweetie you sound like with the babies, perhaps Cricket could come over and you could teach her it is ok to let the babies come around, she is quite scared of them! Maybe a sheltie could convince her they are ok!

Bath! Oh my goodness. Come to think of it -- I have never got any treats with my baths. Not at home or at the groomers. I prefer to get baths at home though -- I agree with you completely sometimes car rides aren't worth it (especially when baths are involved.)

But the good thing with a bath is that you look just amazing afterward!
