Up the mountain

We brought Eva up to Genting Highlands again last weekend for her to get some fresh cool air instead of the hot humid air down here.
This time we went up a small mountain that wasn't too steep with Eva.

We enjoyed a beautiful walk in the morning dew and Eva had the chance of experiencing something she's never done before. We also got to practise our obedience like stays, heel and recall.

Mom! I'm tireeeddd..............

Smile for the camera, princess!

Now for something off-topic.
We had our 7th OB class today but Eva's trainer was 45minutes late, so by that time she was tired and not concentrated...I also realised you haven't seen Eva doing OB yet, so I uploaded a video for you.
She's a very distracted girl, however, so we will have to work on that.

The weather is kind of hot and humid recently... some cool fresh mountain air is a welcome change. Eva seems to be very distracted during lesson... no worries, I'm permanently distracted, lesson or not :)

I really enjoyed seeing the video of Eva practicing her obedience! Laura and Mika were awesome distractions - I think Eva did very well. Even when she got distracted, she returned her attention to you!

The problem with living in the mountains is it still feels hot and humid up here. Oh well, at least I do get mornings on the porch catching up on blogs.

VERY impressive! Her training is going great! The way she can stay and even with the distractions of the other dogs....amazing....and she is still young. Great job!

Eva did a great job on her training. I liked how Laura and Mika just sort of watched from the sidelines. Too cute.

Hello Princess Eva!

You are looking more and more pretty as you're growing up. It's good that you have mountains to go to for cooler air.

You're doing great with your training. Your Mama Hana is so proud of it over at the rainbow bridge as she watches you.

Happy weekend!

Eva would have loved the coolness :) What a lovely video of her! She did very well, especially having the other dogs about! Clever girl and handler :)

Priscilla was that you training Eva or was it the trainer?
My husband and I sooooo enjoyed this! Eva did an amazing job for being so young. Were those other dogs yours as well? That is a great idea to have the other dogs there too.
Eva is adorable, I don't think our Dakota would have "stayed" that long.
I subscribe to your blog and am wondering why I am not getting email notifications when a new one is posted?
Our Sheltie, Dakota sends kisses to Eva!

Absolutely gorgeous dogs!

Let freedom ring from our mountain-tops to our valleys and from coast to coast. Let us NEVER forget the sacrifice of those who came before us, and those who serve now, so we may enjoy the freedoms of our beautiful country!
