They are usually attracted to the fruit trees our neighbour grows and you can often seeing them swinging from branch to branch, munching on the delicious fruits.
These evening, they were exceptionally close and even came down to our garden. Mika was very unhappy, and Eva who was stuck in the house was even more unhappy. Monkeys here are very dangerous and aggressive so it's never too good to aggravate one.
Here are some photos taken by Rosie.
Here they are visiting our next door neighbour.
A brave one watching us from the fence.
And showing off its moves.
At the same time, aggravating our Mika.
Can you see the monkey? |
Even entering into his territory.
Later, he shows off to his friend with his acrobatic moves.
Enjoying the performance.
As Mika watches them, unable to do anything
The monkeys are now far away, watching the sunset.
Two silhouettes in the evening.
P.S. Some of our friends have been asking about our new black and tan. She won't be arriving until hopefully next week and we are just as excited as you are to see her!!!

I think that is soooo cool to have monkeys visiting your house!!
I can't imagine living somewhere where seeing monkeys is common! So cool!
Was Eva in the house because she would become too excited by the monkeys? I know Dakota would be!
xoxoxo
Monkeys?! That's a definite yikes!!
they're fierce little creatures they are!
Cheers

MONKEYS! That's so cool but I think they would make me very nervous. They can be very unpredictable I have heard. Great photos. Loved them.
When you first said monkeys I thought you were referring to just a bunch of silly people... but no, you meant monkeys! Great photos!
I know for sure that we have NO monkeys on Remington Drive (except me....ha ha!) Very cool!
Wow, monkeys! We won't complain about our squirrels anymore!
Stay safe!

Poor Eva missing out on it all. It is interesting when you realize what creatures other people deal with in their backyards and the challenges involved.
Woof! Woof! Oh! My ... They can jump so be careful. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Oh wowserz... monkeys?! I would not be happy either! They are evil little creatures. Mommy says that from a distance they could be very cute. ;)
Woofs & hugs,
~Bailey (Yep, I'm a girl!)
Thanks so much for sharing your visitors with us-it's something we could never imagine here in Ohio and we think it's really cool!

Wow something you don't see everyday! Cheeky monkey :)
The monkeys are so cool! I find them to be very entertaining, but would probably not want them too close! I think I'd be a little be scared.
How cool! We have never met a monkey before - well, other than a stuffie monkey!
Love ya lots

Hard to imagine having monkeys in the backyard! They look neat but kind of scary too!
Sure is neat to see the photos but I don't think I would want a wild animal in my backyard. EEK!

the booker man
That is the coolest thing ever! But we totally get how having them around your house might not be the ideal situation, especially for the pups! They're still cute, though!
The Road Dogs
Oh, those monkeys look fierce! I think they'd aggravate me, too, though. I bet I could chase one and get him moving towards the fence in a hurry!
A new puppy? What did I miss?
Bunny
Wow! Monkeys! That is pretty cool!
I think if I saw one of them hanging around my neighbors I would run:)
Sure is pawesome to watch them there... but it is better to keep your distance from them, right?
Kisses and hugs

That is just so weird. Around here we only see monkeys on the picture box.
Slobbers,
Mango
They look like fun! Although I imagine they could cause a lot of mischief if they wanted!
