(Almost) Wordless Wednesday #45

Today is meant to be Wordless, but I feel a need to describe this scene for you.

First of all, do you see the dog?

Yes?

Well, as many of you know, shelties are SHORT!
Many people who have met Eva have said she looks so much smaller than she does in the photos.
That's because she IS small!

Well, short dogs can't see as high up as we humans can!
Therefore, even though I can see the cat, she can't.
AND she knows there's a cat somewhere up there....
(must be instinct)
but as you can see her sense of direction is a bit off :)

That darn cat is always teasing you!

Eva Knows - the cat walked from the right to the left and she was starting at the beginning of the trail - I bet she eventually figured out where that pesky kitty was !

Those cats, they are sneaky. It takes a skilled sheltie like Eva to root them out!

Keep trying, my friend!

Ah, Eva those cats that do not belong in our yard. We can hear them, we can smell them, but we just can't FIND THEM!!! We have a cat that sits just beyond the back fence and taunts us. She finds it hilarious. Either she should join the herd or move on.

You are doing a fine job patroling the area.

Actually, We think EVA has it all figured out...she found a spot on the wall to climb up...rock wall climbing. Keep trying EVA!

Oh I see what she's looking for LOL! When you see Eva next to Rosie then you see her true size as she does look bigger in her pictures (just like wee Ellie)

Keep trying Eva!! We know how sneaky the kitties can be. Holly is rather big and next door is Blue who is really large and the kitties taunt both of them...they go by the fence, back and forth, knowing somehow that the dogs can't hurt them because of the high fences! Holly and Blue go crazy running and barking and the kitties just go slowly by everytime, probably laughing the entire way! Lots of love, Debbie and Holly

Did Eva get tired of the game? Or did the kitty tease her all afternoon!

Nice try Eva! You may be small but nothing wrong with your beautiful nose!

We hope you and the family had a Happy Easter. Was the Easter bunny good to you?
