However, Hana was PTS on Valentines Day.
Her kidneys were failing and she really didn't stand a chance of living a decent life without pain and misery.
Dear Hana,

Thank you for bringing us your gift from heaven.

Oh no! Mom and I are so very sorry to hear that Hana has gone over the rainbow bridge at such a young age. Her spirit will live on in Eva and in our hearts and we will be with you every minute in our thoughts.
I've been thinking about Hana all day today, and fearing this was the news I would hear. I'm so, so saddened that your family has to bear this grief.
Bless Hana, what a treasure she was, and what a treasure she has given you, baby Eva.

I came to your blog hoping to get a good update on Hana. I was utterly unprepared to read this latest news. I am so, so sorry to hear that your beautiful girl had to be put down. She gave you two gifts: the gift of herself and her love, and her beautiful little girl, Eva. You will be in my thoughts, and I share your sadness. Hana was a truly beautiful dog. May your memories of her help to heal your heavy hearts.

Josie and I came to your blog today also hoping for good news of Hana. She was in our thoughts since we heard of her getting sick a couple of days ago. We are so very shocked to hear of her passing, yes at such a young age. And even though we just met, we hold you close to our hearts, as losing a loved one, is never easy. Please hold your memories close as they may help heal your loss. Hold little Eva too. We are so, so, sorry for your loss. We are going to post a memorial on our blog for Hana.
