Happy New Year

2011 was thankfully, not as eventful for us as 2010 when both Hana and Laura left us for the Rainbow Bridge and Mika got knocked down by a car.

We've watched another year go by with Eva. She now knows and understands a lot of things, has become more mature, yet when it comes to play, or chasing cars, she is still the same puppy we all remember.

My New Year's Resolution - by Eva

Well, considering the amount of presents I got from my Santas this year, I will continue to be the good girl I am, keeping the humans happy by entertaining their boredom (poor souls) with my toys, and trying to bark less.

Happy New Year everybody.
I hope 2012 is bright and beautiful for everybody all year round.

Here was how Eva enjoyed her New Year.

Dear Santa,

Dear Santa,

I believe you may have left one of your best reindeers behind in Malaysia.
Please come and pick her up ASAP, before...

.... she turns back into a normal sheltie

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope Santa wasn't too late in delivering your presents!

Liebster Blog Award

We were awarded the Liebster Blog Award by our buddies over at Pupparoos. Thanks guys!

Liebster means “dearest” in German, and the award is intended to help up-and-coming blogs get the attention they deserve. As with any award, there is a bit of ceremony involved. In order to accept the award, we must do the following:
1. Copy and paste the award on our blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who gave us the award
3. Pick our five favorite blogs with less than 200 followers, and leave a comment on their blog to let them know they have received the award.
4. Hope that the five blogs chosen will keep spreading the love and pass it on to five more blogs

I would like to pass this award over to

  1. Our good friend, Sara and her lovely dogs Oreo and Chewy who are both extra-ordinarily smart AND handsome!
  2. We love reading about The Sprollies (that's Border Collie x Spaniels) at the Greenhill farm with their most gorgeous pictures.
  3. Rottrover is a great blog with two STUNNING and sweet rescue rotties.
  4. I love reading Dawn's blog because not only is it about her gorgeous sheltie, Katie, but she also writes wonderfully and always has some great perspectives of life.
  5. The KNIGHTs Shelties are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. They are great agility dogs and are much loved by their humans.

On the home front...

She's home!!!

Rosie is home at last!!!

After those months and weeks, days and nights, she is home!!! Mika and I were so thrilled when she was home.

The pressies that Rosie got me. I love both of them. They are so light and the right size for me. They are squeakies too. My darling guardian angel always knows what I like.

Look! More pressies!

Hey, tearing wrapping paper is fun too!

Ooh! Yum yum yum!

I'm so lucky to have known you, my most favourite Auntie Lian. You know what I like most too.

I have my Rosie home and so many pressies and treats. What more I could ask for???

Oh, I'm the happiest girl now!

PeeS: Mom said I'm sister Rosie's little follower now. Mom and dad are openly happy that Rosie is home as she is going to take over all the responsibilities of taking care / playing with me. I don't mind those changes though.

I think she's happy to be home too :-)

Don't you love Christmas?

I hear something!!

Quick mom! It's the postman!

Not just one, but TWO parcels for ME!
I LOOOOOVE CHRISTMAS!

Thank you CAREN, Dakota and Cody for the wonderful pink bunny rabbit and lovely CD and card!!!

I love him!!
He's just the right size for my mouth and there are so many things for me to chew on!

AND...from our second sender!
Thank you MAGGIE AND MITCH for this wonderful HANDMADE gingerbread men mitten and a lovely card!

... the gingerbread men told me I could eat it....

But it wasn't tasty. So I decided that wearing it was the best option.

My best Christmas presents are coming soon!
Rosie is home on Sunday!!!
