The beach.
Where to start?
We set off for our 4 hours drive on Friday morning and arrived at the beach resort in the early afternoon.
Upon arriving, we unpacked our bags, cleaned up our chalet and went to the beach!
This was Eva's first reaction...
 |
OMD THE BEACH |
Then some dogs decided they needed to introduce themselves...
 |
Hey, quit sniffing! |
After she escaped their burrowing noses, she went back to being completely CRACKER
She was one happy girlie.
Day 2 saw us up bright and early.
We had more cracker dog episodes of her playing with her leash.
She does that a lot.
Up UP in the air!
But being off leash also means mom and dad need to have some food on their hands...we wouldn't want a runaway sheltie.
Our sit and stand stays were put into good use. They hadn't been practised for a long time but Eva knew just what to do and how to pose!!
She even gave some of the cutest expressions like this...
Soon it became quite hot when the sun came out so we decided to go back in, have a rest, and then go back to the beach in the evening.
This one just made me laugh!!
We got some really nice photos in the evening where the light shone on the beach.
There were very little areas on which it shone but when we put Eva in it, it just looks like there is a spotlight on her.
And we got some really pretty 'show dog' stacking and gaiting pictures.
Of course, a princess needs her food after looking pretty!
Our third and final day began on the beach again.
This time, we saw fishermen lining up their fishing rods.
Eva was pretty interested in them and the fish they caught.
She soon discovered the joys of digging.
But with her nose...
Did you know, she has never gotten herself wet?
She loves playing with the waves, but once they come too close, she'll run away.
SMILE!
She also found a new joy with sticks.
They are obviously very nice to chew.
Bunnies...
White and fluffy.
But not as cute as me!
And we also had a kitty neighbour.
Eva was NOT pleased.
We had a lot of growling from her and snarling from the cats.
And finally, to end with, a very happy picture with our two happy girlies.
(P.S. We had a wonderful little photographer who shot more than 1000 pictures!!!)
