BULLIED!

Some of you may remember a puppy visitor who came to visit us few weeks ago. Well, she came again because her mommy had to go somewhere. I am quite frightened of her because although she likes to play, she is very rough and being a princess, I don't like to play rough!!

See how she loves nipping me!!
And that evil glint in her eye?!?
My hoomans don't understand why I don't fight back and chase her instead!! Well, I guess it's because being a single puppy, I've never learnt to properly play with other pups.  My hoomans are quite thankful to have her chase me because whenever a car passes, I would start running and barking, but with Blackie here, she will chase me so I won't have a chance to run OR bark!!

Most of our games end like this and I always have to go under the bushes to hide from her!

Some of you were interested in the monkeys that have been visiting us, our neighbours, and their fruit-bearing trees. Well, here they are! A whole family of them :)

Oh dear.. I hope those monkeys don't try to sneak into your house.

That blackie doesn't play nice at all. I hope Uncle Mika was there to save the day..

Some doggies just don't know how to play nicely and you kind of need to avoid them. It might be good to only be around blackie on leash where both of you can practice your manners.

Oh! I love the monkeys! How amazing to have them in your backyard! We only get to see such creatures in zoos, but they are always my favorite.

Look like Blackie is a bit too rough for you at times. Hopefully your hooman come to rescue!

I love monkeys but they are feisty little buggers! Watch out!

I don't know how to play well with other dogs either, Eva! I was sad to see you hiding in the bushes!

Those monkeys are so neat and I can't believe you have them right there in your yard!

Ohhhhh Eva!! My heart broke seeing you hiding under the bush like that!!!

I have seen you play with many doggies and you don't act afraid. There is something about that black doggie that you don't like!
We have a black German Shepherd that lives by us and Dakota has ALWAYS been afraid of it!
MONKEYS!!! OMG! I can't imagine what it would be like to have MONKEYS in your back yard!!!!!
Do the monkeys ever bother Eva and Mika??

Blackie needs to learn how to treat a princess with respect!

You've got monkeys!? We have snow but no Monkeys! Maybe you have Monkeys instead of snow?

Oh Sweetie I would get rid of that bully if I were you. A girl must always feel safe in her own space.

The monkeys are amazing. Do they cause any problems?

Emma Rose

I've now got a playmate too, at times she is a bit rough for me but in time you get used to it and play. Although I think Blackie is a bit too big for me to play with.

I don't like it when Morgan plays rough, either, and I let her know it! A sharp park usually gets her to back off. I'm sorry Blackie's not playing nice.

Eva, it's your place. You should be the top doggy in that situation. Do like Bunny said and let her know that you're the boss. You have to set limits and insist that your guest plays nicely.

lotsa licks, Lola

Oh, poor Eva! Being bullied in your own home sure isn't fun. Get your hoomans to leash her up when you guys are together!

There sure are a lot of monkeys around M'sia! A's granny's house has a lot of monkey visitors too!

Eva, I'm so sorry that you have to put up with Blackie's bad manners! I can't believe how she likes to chase you and nip you. I hope she'll learn to treat you with respect soon.

I think the monkeys would make a better playmate, Eva... but Blackie only means well I guess, and plays the way he only knows how to... albeit a bit too rough for a princess... just make sure you don't get bullied the next time.

Shame on Blackie! She needs to chill out!
How are the Monkeys? Are they fun to have around or do they cause problems? Very exotic!

I am not sure from the pictures if it is Eva who does not know how to play, that looks like some rude, pushy play-not a bad dog just a rougher player- and if I was Eva I would not like that either- I think he should be reminded to cool it a little, or they should play with rougher players. Good doggie play should have one dog back off every few seconds and the other dog should read that and back off for a second until they both go back at it, but it is not polite to keep chasing and keep going until the other dog is hiding and feeling like they have to get away. I think most shelties are softer players and wouldnt understand that type of play no matter how many littermates they have. I am with Eva on this one, LOL!!!

Oh my goodness, I forgot you are in Malaysia! Those monkeys shocked me!! Poor Eva, hiding from that rough-housing pup. That girl sure looks dominant, tail all in the air! Eva's a lover, not a fighter ;)

And those monkeys!! They are just fabulous. How lucky you are to have such interesting visitors.
