Stitches Out!!!

I went to the dreadful vet's yesterday to have my stitches taken out.
I don't understand how Uncle Mika, after having two surgeries, still enjoys going to the vet place and meeting all the people! As soon as I got on the table, I wanted to get down! I struggled and struggled. The humans had to hold me down, and then I started shaking uncontrollably. I was terrified!

What if they were going to leave me there again? What if that horrible man was going to do another painful surgery on me?

The good news is that, my incision is healing very well and the vet person is very happy with it. I, however, have to be confined for yet another week because apparently, I am too jumpy and crazy! How am I going to survive? Well, let me tell you something.
I just heard that my sister Rosie will be coming back in exactly 2 weeks!! Isn't that exciting?
I hope the weeks fly by quickly!

Look! You can see how quickly my fur has grown back!

Unless you look really really closely, you can't see my shaven patch!

BOL! Wrong side silly! Look again!

Glad to know your incision is healing wonderfully! Good thing for me & Megan, our stitches were the dissolving type. We didn't have to go back to the Vet to get them pulled out. I heard it hurts when they get removed. Hope you're having a great Sunday so far!

Oh Eva! So sorry to hear you have another week of confinement!

But isn't it wonderful that you will be able to do lots of jumps for joy just in time for Rosie's welcome home party? Yay!

Priscilla, you must be having a rough time, trying to keep Eva on 4 legs. Hope the week goes by quick.

I also hate the vet Eva even though I really like her away from the vet's office! So glad to see how well you are healing! Another week of no jumping is awful but I am sure it will go by quickly and then before you know it, Rosie will be home!!!!!!!

Ohhhh dear Eva how my heart ached when I read that you were "shivering and shaking" at the vet and you were terrified that you would be left there again. Poor, sweet girl! I just wanted to hug you sooo bad!

I know you have so much energy (it is your heritage/lineage you know) and it is so hard for Sheltie boys and girls to be confined.

The good news is that after that week passes it will be just one more week til Rosie comes home!

We are so happy that Rosie will be home soon!

Try not to be upset about being confined Eva, it is just so that you can heal properly.

We are sending you lots of love!!

We really like our Vet because she is nice, but we hate going because we always get the bum shots. Even when Dad says there is no bum shot sometimes she sneaks one in anyways.

We hope you get to run and play soon.

Love Bailey and Katy.
