Do any of your dogs do this?

How many of your dogs go crazy when someone is at the door?
It is a terrible habit (one she learnt from her mother and hasn't been able to stop ever since...) and our princess goes NUTS whenever she hears the bell ring.

Wonder if the camera is fast enough to catch her during one of her crazy moments?

Lightning will bark a couple of times, but then he usually gives it up. Ciara just runs to the door with her tail wagging to greet whoever has come to shower her with attention.

Happy Fourth of July!!!

I love company and love to jump up on them and get close to their face to make sure they know they're welcome. I have as much energy as you do, pretty Eva!

Love ya lots♥

it is actually an easy habit to break - get a plastic bottle and put some small pebbles in it. Keep it by the front door and when the bells rings just shake it at Eva and tell her NO. You can also use a whistle. If you have a friend or your husband who can practice it - she will learn quickly. But YES both boys do if if we haven't had any visitors in a while

I swear that Dakota and Eva are related! OF COURSE Dakota goes nuts when someone is at the door! And...he will often try and put his nose UNDER the door to scare the "intruders" away!

When people come in our home to visit.....he barks like a nutcase when they enter and he barks the same way when they leave. He HATES seeing people leave once they are here lol

Being a good sheltie, I call it. hehe.
I don't care too much but my Auntie Penny tried to teach me to always go nuts and woo woo at the door, so I try to put some effort in. Arran gets pretty mad about the door.
