Our Licks to Rosie!!!

After Mom had posted her longest post in her world, I think all my blogger friends will hope she won't touch the keyboard again. Mom, please don't come here too often, you give my friends headache!!!

My sister Rosie, the one you know even better by now, just finished her mock exams last Friday. I had wanted to send her my good luck charms but I didn't have a chance to do so. Blame my mom again!!!

As you all know, if we go to OB classes or whatsoever classes, we will have exams and trials as humans and in the end, they will tell us how well we do it, right? It is the same as my sister Rosie. She is going to get her results one by one from tomorrow onwards. I know she isn't worried about it at all but I think I'd better cross my paws for her.

More well wishes are on the way to Rosie because she is going to have loads of concerts from this week onwards until... well, she doesn't even know when the last one will be. They are just lining up in her diary until her summer break, I guess.

Uncle Mika said he would send her all his licks!!!

What a good idea, I am sending her my licks too...

and
While she is studying and practising hard at school,
I will play hard at home too...
So we are equally hard-working.

Good luck!!!

Fingers & toes crossed for Rosie! I'm sure she will do well.

Being busy with concerts will make the time until summer break fly by!

Eva, you let your mom type anytime she needs to. We are all here to support your family no matter the situation.

We will be sending good vibes to Rosie, but it doesn't sound like she'll really need them. We just read the long post, because we weren't online to catch up with everyone in a timely way. We thought it was very compelling and wish we had some useful advice to give.

Priscilla this is a lovely post! I lovely way to let the pups bring some light into a stressful situation.

I get so stressed out about the dogs, I can't imagine what it would be like to have kids to worry about. But I bet you are so proud of Rosie!

Eva is getting beautiful! Everyone is growing up and growing up so well!:))

Dear Priscilla,
I just read your post about Rosie.
I would like to speak from a few of my own experiences in this matter.
I had stayed at the hostel for a total of 14 years for my education.
But I left home when I was 16, much later than Rosie.
It isn't easy at all to leave home. But the stay away definitely makes one a stronger person. I feel I am much more independent today than even my brother who was always at home throughout his study period.
Rosie left home very early, so it must be all the more difficult for her. Besides, she probably is much closure to you than I am with my mom. She is still very very young and at that age when you go through the maximum insecurities.
Social pressures, boys, peers, studies, missing home...everything just adds up.
It is definitely difficult, but you learn a lot when u fight your own battles, however small it maybe.
The fact that she has your love and trust will make her strong enough to do it even if she is far away.
Just let her be and follow her dreams.
She has already put in so much time in her music lessons, I think she should complete this course.
She may or may not pursue it later on, but she will always have a solid background she can fall back upon.
At the same time, she can pursue something she is passionate about, maybe a course in animal studies, -training, physiotherapy, animal photography, journalism, anything that will help her take up a profession related to dogs/animals (because u say she is very passionate about it)
This can help her make herself financially secure to start a kennel if she wants to, later on in life.Even if she doesn't open one, she can keep on working for animals.
A kennel can be started at any point of time, you just need to have a good solid preparation for it, because it is a HUGE responsibility.

Don't worry about the anti-social thing...it is just a passing phase. She is just forming her personality. If she is out going, she will naturally make heaps of friends . If she turns out to be a reserved person later on in life, she will have fewer friends. It doesn't matter I think, either way.
She can't go wrong. She has You to love her and evidently care for her so much.
I am sure all will be well.
BEST of Luck.
love,
GIN, BUD n SHADOW's Mummy, Geetu

Fingers and paws crossed for Rosie!

Your mom didn't give us a headache at all!

I hope Rosie did well on her exams, but I'm sure she did. I still get anxious before exams - I can't wait to finish college already, but still so many years to go!

I'm sure Rosie does not need the best luck wishes: she is talented on her own and will do very well! :-)
Anyway, I send her all my positive thoughts because UK at this time of year may be a bit grey...

I response to the last two posts I must say "Follow your dreams". It sounds like Rosie's true love is animals. If that is true then It might be time for her to move on. One might be extremely talented in a particular area but if it doesn't make you happy what is the point? Money? Better think again.

I see know reason why wanting to be with your family is a negative. I am now caring for my 90 year old mother who lovingly cared for me. Family is so important, embrace it!
You did say pour it out!
Best wishes,
Sandy

Eva we are sending our licks to Rosie as well...lots and lots of puppy kisses have got to do the trick. Good Luck Rosie!

Our mom's thoughts -- Priscilla, as a mom to a mom, the experience that Rosie and you have received to date are PRICELESS! Have no regrets and don't make any harsh changes fast; take the time for the family to really evaluate the situation and follow your hearts.
Throughout the time we have been following your life, it has always been clear as day, that your love and desire is your most beautiful daughter, Rosie. I personally commend you for being the mom you are; LOVING, CARING and UN-SELFISH! So, I send you a Big Mom Hug and wish you luck. Your friend -- Patti
